Book Signing at Corning's Annual Olive Festival

Thank you, Corning! That community's annual "Olive Festival" was good fun. Sat right next to some Veterans (including one guy from World War II - wow! - not many of those around anymore, sad to say); got rained on first thing in the morning...and still sold a lot of books. And....got more than one story from multiple "customers" who had also had very errie things happen to them while traveling the Pacheco Pass...some so scared over it, they still couldn't (or wouldn't) discuss the details of it all these years later. See - I told you so!

The first professional literary review of my novel is in!

Here's an excerpt:
"This book flows in the documented river of California history. It is true to what is known about the treatment of indigenous peoples...however, in this telling, Allee ties all the pieces together, offering readers a complete picture...in a fascinating and very satisfactory way." - The US Review of Books.

For the full review, click on the link here. And thank you so much to each and every one of you who have purchased the novel! You ARE the best readers any author could ever hope for!
